Connecting the Dots

Connecting the Dots: Ancient Wisdom Modern Science by Lia Russ is a unique exploration in new age literature designed to inform the reader to inspire them to go out and truly make your own decisions. The book is structured into five parts: physical, psychological, intellectual, energecltic, and psychospiritual. It is structured so you can read it cover to cover or skip around if you are knowledgeable in some areas and less in others.

I enjoyed this book because it made me think of things in a different light than I would normally. There were personal stories that the reader will find easily relatable combined with facts of modern science to relate on a technical level. Some of the subjects discussed are plants, acupuncture, imagination, language, meditation, and placing value.

This book is a great gift for the new age enthusiast in your life. I truly feel this book was meant for all of those that are curious about the world and how we as humans relate to it. I suggest reading this book in the morning before your yoga as it is a wonderful starting point for meditations and pondering.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
