A Blog about the BSC and Where They Would Be Now
Shine on You Crazy Diamond
Sometimes it is hard to be a woman. Oftentimes we feel we need to act like we are doing fine when really inside not everything is. Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Catherine L. Owens is a book to help you break away from the cages we put ourselves in and live our best lives. The book covers all the things that we as women encounter and how we deal with them. By exploring the things we are taught and questioning them, exploring our self image and embracing our flaws, this book allows us to become confident and empowered.I really enjoyed the quotes in this book from a wide variety of strong individuals. The book itself is also beautiful with fun eye catching fonts. The book is packed full of sound advice that is appropriate for any age or stage in life. The author lends a personal stories and journal entries to each lesson.
I would recommend this book for all women who wish to be strong, confident, and bold. This would be a great gift for any occasion that any woman would he proud to display in the library. I recommend reading this book in the morning with your cup of coffee so you can carry the lessons with you throughout your day.
