Norse Mythology For Kids Review

If you are into fantasy and fairytales, Norse Mythology For Kids by History Brought Alive is a fun compilation of Norse mythology stories easily explained for young readers. This book is informative without talking down to the reader. Covering great information like The Nine Worlds, Odin, Thor, Loki, and Heimdall.

This book has a great sense of humor to counteract all of the serious mythology stuff, so it doesn't sound like a boring textbook. The book gives a great background of what myths are and who the Norse were. There is a beautiful way that it explains The Nine Worlds and the World Tree that makes sense to you despite how incredibly complicated they are.

This book would be wonderful for a kid's book report or any kid that loves to read about fantasy or superheroes like Thor. This book is also great for adults that like mythology but struggle with how complicated some of it is.

Mythology is a great way to introduce to kids common beliefs of the past and where we have come from as storytellers. I recommend reading this book at night when your imagination comes alive and you can dream of magical land full of elves, trees, and fun monsters.
